AYSO Region 56 is Celebrating its 37th year of commitment to the kids in the community of South Huntington Beach. We are also the home of the - all players play 3 quarters rule for age groups U4 - U12 for regular fall season when team number allow. American Youth Soccer Organization's (AYSO) mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, family environment based on the AYSO philosophies.
Not only does region 56 offer the traditional recreational Soccer experience for all children. Region 56 also has a competitive program similar to club called EXTRA (formally plus). With the Extra program region 56 offers a little higher level of play and coaching.

|Becoming A referee||Becoming a Coach|
|We can't have games without referees. More importantly, it's rewarding and working with kids is great fun! Refs help keep every game fun, fair and safe.
||Unique age-appropriate coach training is one of AYSO's specialties. If you plan to be at your child's soccer practices and games, you'll also have time to be your child's coach!

|Becoming a volunteer||Join the Board|
|AYSO is a volunteer-run organization. Coaches, referees and administrators are volunteers. Over 220,000 parents, neighbors, relatives and friends lend their time and talents so that each child gets a terrific AYSO experience.
|| AYSO’s volunteer foundation ensures that it’s all about what’s good for kids. It also makes AYSO very affordable. AYSO operates in a business manner, but volunteers ensure its “profits” are happy, healthy kids playing a sport they can enjoy for life.We currently have 10 volunteer board positions Vacant. Please look and see if there is one you can help with.

We Need Your HELP!
The parking at Brethren Christian is a major problem. Everybody is driving and parking along the building and near the field entrances causing a significant hazard to our children and the students at the school. I am asking that all Coaches, Parents, etc. stop driving in this area and no longer park there. This request is effective immediately.
We are investigating installing barriers but would rather not have to do this.
